The exhibition curated by DIEZ OFFICE at the Designpost Cologne displays an overview of the current work of our studio. In seventeen stations – each illuminated by the Plusminus lighting system – the presentation follows two guiding ideas: how can sustainable design look good and at the same time circularity be integrated in the manufacturing process?

“Wealth creation in today’s world is generally based on the consumption of raw materials. Yet our resources are finite. This approach is therefore not sustainable over the long term either on environmental grounds or from a business perspective. The transformation to a circular economy is one of the most important missions of our generation and designers have a key role to play here.”

Stefan Diez and DIEZ OFFICE has been awarded the “AW Designer of the Year 2022” by AW Architektur & Wohnen. This renowned prize honors the Munich-based designer as a visionary trendsetter. In his innovative and functional designs, Stefan Diez not only highlights sustainability but also advocates for a design approach centered on a circular economy. The exhibition in Designpost Cologne was opened with the award ceremony during the Orgatec Fair.
